Stock Market Challenge

On Tuesday all S2 pupils took part in the Stock Market Challenge.  This gave them the opportunity to apply and develop numeracy and business understanding in a real world context.  The winners will be announced at assembly next Tuesday.

Former Pupil Association Inaugural Burns Supper

A braw night was had by all at the Boroughmuir Rugby club on Friday night. People in attendance were treated to readings of Burns by members of our head team as well as some Highland Dancing by pupils. Well done to all the Bard would be proud!

Swim Team compete at Scottish Schools Championships

Stuart Crawford, Sophie Annan , Jessica Damen, Ellen Smith ,Anna and Jenny Galloway represented the school  at the Scottish School Swimming Finals in Glasgow on Saturday .  Only to top fastest swimmers in the country are selected to race in this event and all swimmers did extremely well to qualify .. A group of S2 girls along with some P7 pupils from South Morningside Primary attended this event at the National Museum.  The focus was to engage and inspire girls to think about careers in science, engineering and technology.  Women from these industries described their experiences.
