Our first ever edition of BLT is designed to capture some of the many highlights of our “Core Business” of Learning and Teaching. This has been out together by Miss Presly but the really hard work was done by all the contributors named in BLT. This is merely a snapshot and so much more is going on every day in all our classrooms. Please enjoy and we look forward to sharing the next edition before Easter.
You can read the first issue here in news and events > BLT Webzine.
Happy Holidays!

As a parent of pupils at Boroughmuir High School, we thought that you may be interested in a commemorative Boroughmuir High School calendar created, in association with the Parent Council, to mark the transition from old school to new. The calendar contains inventive photographs captured by pupils at the school and chosen by a team of professionals and it celebrates the architecture and spirit of the school that we are proud to attend.
Calendars are being sold in school and at school events and can also be ordered. All of the profit goes towards funding a school trip to Mexico where pupils, like us, will be providing manpower to help researchers studying biodiversity and conservation in the largest rainforest outside of the Amazon. We will be working in association with the charity The Operation Wallacea Trust, local NGOs and Government bodies and Universities from all around the world.
We would be extremely grateful for any help provided through buying the calendars, which are A4, wire bound, 250 grams, and have extremely high quality of printing. They cost £10 each or can be bought in bundles at discounted prices (two for £18, three for £26). If you are interested in purchasing a calendar, would like to learn more about the calendar, or want to find out more about our trip to Mexico, you can email us at boroughmuir.calendars@gmail.com. Alternatively they can be purchased directly from the school atrium every day during break and lunchtime.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

the Mexico Group
