Visit from Leslie Dilley

On Thursday 26^th August Boroughmuir Higher  Design, Graphics and Drama students were very fortunate to have a visit from Leslie Dilley. Leslie Dilley is a Welsh production designer and art director. He has won two Academy Awards , for Star Wars and Raiders of the lost Ark, and has been nominated for three more in the category Best Art Direction. He is also responsible for designing R2D2 in the original Star Wars. He was invited by Mr MacDonald to talk to the students about his experiences over his long career and took questions from the students ( and excited staff). The students were so involved that the session overran past the school day. He has also promised to come back next year if he is in the country.
