Financial Support at Boroughmuir

We understand that financial hardship can affect many families and that it can be a source of real anxiety. At Boroughmuir, we believe the cost of the school day/ experience should not be a barrier to learning and success.

There is a range of support available from the school or further afield to help you.

Families who are worried about meeting costs are welcome to apply for financial assistance via our Family Fund Request Form.

Applying allows us to support you with many other costs automatically, so it is well worth exploring further.

Nearly New Uniforms

Donated items are quality checked, washed and prepared for their next owner at a fraction of the cost of new.

Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)

Pupils aged 16 – 19 could be eligible for up to £30 a week to help with costs.
