For today’s bike festival event our pupils were treated to the whirlwind experience of cycle speedway! Only one member of staff was (not seriously) injured in an overzealous cornering manoeuvre! Big thanks to Trevor Bryant for providing us with this experience.
it’s Bike Festival Week at Boroughmuir today’s events included the smoothie bike and fixed bike racing! Pupils could bring use the smoothie bike to mix up a smoothie with pedal power or go head to head racing to see who could cover the most distance with the fixed race bikes.
It’s Bike Festival Week at Boroughmuir lots of events including a visit from the Bike Doctor! Pupils could bring their bike in for a full check and were even given some instruction on how to maintain them for themselves.
The annual Art and Biology Field trip to Benmore will be taking place take place in September. This is a great opportunity for pupils to develop their knowledge and skills on a field trip and provides an enjoyable and valuable experience for S4 pupils at the start of S4.
